Skin Cancer: Checks, Diagnosis, Treatment and Management

All our GP's are trained to perform skin check's and recognize suspicious lesions. They regularly conduct skin checks and perform minor surgery from a small biopsy to wider excisions as well as Cryotherapy.  Some treatments are managed in house but more importantly our doctors are trained to know when something requires further referral.

Appointments are essential! Please let our receptionists know that you need to book a Skin Check or Procedure so they can schedule this appointment appropriately.  If you have other issues or things you need seen to by a Doctor it is best to do these at a separate appointment at another time.

About 434,000 Australians are treated for non-melanoma skin cancer each year. In 2008, there were 420 deaths from non-melanoma skin cancer. (NSW Cancer Council)
